false disclosure

A hypothesis advanced by Dr. Steven Greer — physician and founder of the Disclosure Project — that elements of the military-industrial complex are preparing a staged, deceptive “disclosure” of extraterrestrial life: using human-built craft, holographic or otherwise simulated phenomena, and staged events to portray extraterrestrials as a hostile threat. Greer argues the purpose would be to justify a vast military and space-weapons buildup and a consolidation of power — a “false-flag” alien threat — as opposed to what he calls authentic disclosure. Presented here as Greer's hypothesis, not as established fact.
