Diving
DY·ving
also called breaching
A military / telepathic term for establishing a brain-to-brain connection with another human being or animal for the purpose of observation and/or investigation via image-based search.
Breaching is the earlier name for the same process. The author used that word before learning the term Diving, and it is the word the record itself uses: breaching appears 271 times across 125 journal entries, while diving appears in none of them. A reader working through the journal will meet the older word first, and should read the two as one thing.
